Lecture BDS
In class we had a quest speaker come and talk to us about perspective. He showed many different examples of how to make lines and read them in a perspective way to help people design realistically. It was very interesting and helped me as a design student how to look at things different to better my treehouse.

Treehouses
Today in class we critiqued our sketches of trees and treehouse ideas. I am not sure with what I want my treehouse to look like exactly. The most important aspects that I would like are a deck that is either attached all the way around the house or is separate from the house but still connected somehow. Another quality I want to include is going as "green" as I possibly can while planning out how the treehouse will be made. Everyone else had many different creative ideas that have opened my eyes to new ways I might want to design the house.

Wayfinding Presentations
Our group presentations went very well! I think all of the design students did a nice job with their different wayfinding systems. My group used the wayfinding technique to help students better locate where JayBowl is in the Union. We made different signs placed along the main entrance of the union and down the stairwells. We also came up with the idea to place red triangles along the steps going down the stairs to make it look like a bowling alley and at the end on the wall there would be a sign of where JayBowl is. We thought this was the easiest and most efficient way to locate and possibly even catch peoples attention more to go and bowl there. After testing our results were successful and we found it really did help people have a better idea of where JayBowl is in the Union and to actually go there to bowl.
